Nora AlNAshwan…the Cofounder of CODE FOR GIRLS

Nora Alnashwan one of the remarkable women in the technology world who graduated from Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic

University with a bachelor’s degree of computer science In 2016 Nora started blogging about technology and other topics on

different platforms. She worked as an application developer in government sectors and Apps Development Specialist at major

international companies such as Microsoft. She is a developer Advocate who trained more than 300 people in Cloud Application

Development and Modern Technology in Saudi Arabia. She is a Business Transformation Consultant (Blockchain) at IBM.

Cofounder of CODE FOR GIRLS, an organization that aims to empower girls in the tech industry by building a community of

talented girls from all disciplines and teaching them how to code. In 2016 Nora started blogging about technology and other topics

on different platforms. She was awarded Top 50 Tech Visionaries Award from the international technology conference Intercon in

2019. She developed a solution which relies on blockchain for date farmers in Saudi Arabia that helps to improve food

authenticity.
