Recently, Saudi Arabia’s Fashion Commission has organized one of the first fashion event focusing on sustainability highlight local and global effort in that regard. The event titled “Moving Towards Sustainability, Diversity and Innovation” was streamed online and brought many inspiring international leaders and designers in the fashion industry discussing these important issues in their work. It also introduced many Saudi female fashion designers who have gone global with sustainable fashion

The event was in cooperation between Fashion Future, an initiative by the Fashion Commission, with Fashinnovation, a global platform for sustainability, innovation and entrepreneurship in fashion. Fashion Futures was introduced in 2019 as the first event dedicated to the fashion sector in the Kingdom.
